In the process of garment dyeing, garments will be exposed to different pH dyes and auxiliary dyes according to different materials. In addition, the dyeing time of ready-made garments is relatively long, sometimes the whole process can take up to 7-8 hours. The zipper will produce great changes in this process, such as the following:

1. Metal zipper teeth, metal top and bottom stop, and box plugs may be corroded and discolored;

2. The size of the zipper becomes shorter and wavy under long-term heating;

3. The metal zipper is in contact with the clothing fabric under the action of acid dye to cause color shift;

4. After a long time of heating and chemical reagent soaking, the cloth glue of the open-end zipper will fall off;

5. The color fastness of the zipper after dyeing of the garment is not up to the standard.

Precautions:

1 Samples and tests should be done before the garment is dyed.

2 The finished garment must be washed and dried in time after dyeing.
