The ZDHC gateway is a safer chemical database designed to help textile brands and their suppliers make more ecological choices.

The ZDHC plan was born in 2011. The industry is facing the challenge of transformation, and new ideas are ready to emerge. From the initial six contracted brands to the joint roadmap to commit to the joint roadmap, so far, it has become a global group with more than 160 contributors.

Major textile brands have joined the program to reduce or eliminate chemicals that are harmful to humans and the environment in the production of their products. In the next few years, more and more fashion brands and their suppliers joined this project, making it one of the main reference points for assessing the sustainability characteristics of textile chemicals, and achieving its ultimate goal: cleaner Water, cleaner air and safer production.
ZDHC's mission: to empower textile, apparel, leather and footwear brands, retailers and their supply chains to implement best practices in sustainable chemical management in the value chain. Through collaboration, standard formulation and implementation, we will achieve the goal of zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
ZDHC's vision: to implement sustainable chemicals extensively in the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries, and to promote innovation and best practices to protect consumers, workers and the environment.

To be included in the ZDHC gateway, chemicals must comply with the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL), which is a list of chemical substances that are prohibited from being used in textile materials and processes.

ZDHC MRSL stipulates concentration limits in chemical formulations that are considered hazardous substances. If the product exceeds the limit, it cannot be considered to comply with the ZDHC MRSL.

ZDHC achieves safer production by empowering each link in the textile industry chain to achieve safer production. It is establishing a brand-new system, contributing to reducing the industry's environmental footprint, and gradually creating a better future for all mankind.
Through this vision, Hongsheng adopted the ZDHC plan and introduced its certified products into the ZDHC gateway. Today, the ZDHC gateway contains more than 10 Hongsheng products, laying a solid foundation for apparel processing companies to improve the sustainability of their products.
